the QSC Risk assessment for Phase 1 reopening and the
QSC Phase 1 Operational Guidelines.
The club maintains its own fleets of boats for
free of charge use by members, these range
from an RS Tera, 2 x Topper, 3 x Laser and 3 x Lightning through to RS Vision, Laser 2000 and Topper Buzz .
Organised racing is currently not allowed due to COVID-19. This situation will be reviewed regularly by the Race Committee, who will explore other options for fun competitive sailing.
Organised trips are also currently on hold until advised differently by HM Government. The QSC Committee continues to explore ways that sailing events
and trips can be safely restarted. Previous locations for trips include
the Solent, Bala (Snowdonia) and Greece with sailing in some interesting conditions
with plenty of rescue boats to assist.
